Everyday integrity – seeing the whole picture ( part1 )

Throughout our business or personal life we gain a lot of experience, which forms our ideas about how to communicate effectively. In every moment of our development we have all the information we need to move further. There is a difference though between what we know and what we apply. The connecting process starts with the desire to integrate you knowledge into your everyday life. Being sincere in the relation with us plays a key role in that adventure. Otherwise you will keep disguising the truth with intellectual excuses, complicated strategies and selling formulas, which promise you success.

Connecting Skills system is a methodology about effortless integration between our truth and the outside world. The System guides us to create a natural fusion between every step of the every day communicational process. It is based on the idea of circularity – every step leads to another…

It is based on the idea of circularity – every step leads to another…

Our work and everyday business life is full of challenges, manifested in a different ways for everybody. One of the greatest dares we come across is when we pitch or present our products and services (i.e. ourselves). This is the moment of transforming our creative efforts into money, relationships or something else worthwhile for us now. To be able to craft effective presentation or lead fruitful negotiations, it is necessary to combine three features of the connecting process:

The present moment – very often we tend to concentrate on what we want to achieve in future instead on what we have and offer now in that particular presentation or pitch. To use, develop and profit our potential means to reveal sincerely the essence of our business now.

Blend into one our abilities, skills, personal aspects and desires. We all have natural talent to sense inadequacy. I am sure all of us experienced many examples of discrepancy in that line.

Integrate all stages of the process of communication – state the intention; supply succinctly the most important information; leave space for questions; befriend the negatives, ask for what you want; be clear about what happens after a positive response from the other side; infuse the conversation with that part of your individuality, which mostly supports your intention.

Being constantly aware gives tune us into the ability to see the whole picture. This is a state where you appreciate that everything happens, as you needed only to facilitate new understanding and eventual change. It seams easier for us to get into survival mode and stand still in the mainstream concept of duality, where creating opposites (positive – negative; good – bad) support us make decisions. At moments of struggle we can use that concept to help each other understand better the ‘whole picture’. Everything we define as negative is actually the other side of what we define positive. The negative comes to give information about the positive. The negative comes to catalyse a transformation. If that is possible it happens. If not, we experience the negative until we gain sufficient understanding about the positive. All that brings us into the concept of circularity where everything and everyone is connected into a circle. Every action, experience and understanding leads into the next ones. Every person, pitch and sale (successful or not) leads to the next step we need to balance our business life.

Only then the situation transforms and we experience our natural state of understanding the whole picture. From that point we can make a free choice as a result of which we relate with others and ourselves with understanding.
