How to choose the right network and what to say there ( part 2 )

After youve met your reality and have chosen the true words to express it, comes the moment of networking actions. (Reed about the first stage in the previous article)

Second stage: Do it now

At that point you can take all the recommendations about where to go, because when you are clear about your needs the advice will take the right place. Also look for yourself for events, which attract you for some reason. You never know where you will meet people to match your intentions. This is the stage where you mostly need your action abilities (especially when you havent got much experience in networking). Keep going at various places or visit few times events, organized by same people, until you truly enjoy the process of communicating your present business situation.

Third stage: Choose with responsibility and respect

After every event you went, spend some time with the first piece of paper (The clarification) and get another, blank one. Its time again for questioning:

Did any of my personal desires come true?

For some of you it was worth having an interesting conversation. What was it about? What was valuable for me?

Did any of my business needs were met?

Be very specific with that one. Dont overlook or exaggerate a new contact or information. Dont rely on prejudices.

What did I learn?

If none of your desires or needs were met at the event youve just been, it is important to realize what is the lesson for you and how that can affect positively your actions.

When you choose to join a network do it with self-respect and responsibility. Sometimes we tend to buy a membership because many people you know already did it; the price looks tempting or there are free incentives given. Being clear about your present situation and what do you need; being able to reed the feedback you get and share your true business individuality is how you participate respectfully in the networking process.
